我在美国论坛上看过老外对比Lexicon与Meridian环绕声处理器的AV效果，基本上认为：
两者声音都非常出色，Lexicon的声音是来自四面八方，而Meridian是感觉一个完整的声场包围着你，换而言之，Lexicon方位感更出色，而Meridian包围感更胜一筹，不相伯仲，而Meridian独门的Trifield 环绕声音乐模式，则播放音乐音质更佳。
Meridian的设备还有一点好处，就是可以不断通过电脑进行软件升级，还可以通过电脑软件设定所有喇叭和讯源的参数，扩充性极好。
国内很少人用，看看老外的评论：

to see how much I was missing on the music side of it and I was missing

free upgrades from meridian. The Krell i listened to required you to pay for
future upgrades. i listened to many procesors this was better if not equal

我当时是在试听Rotel的一套西装前后级，结果我还是买了Rotel的后级，前级就买了
Meridian 561。Meridian＋Rotel＋M&K的声音比我过去的Arcam＋Spendor还更有音乐味。
在家庭影院方面，它效果惊人！我发现它非常生动！Meridian的环绕效果真的很不同，虽
然我是个2声道狂热者，可我还是很享受用Trifield多声道模式听音乐。
最棒的是100％免费的升级，我听过Krell，如果你未来要升级你必须付费。
我曾经听过非常多处理器，Meridian 561都比较强，最多影院效果和561旗鼓相当，但音
乐
方面Meridian 561远远超越（原文是把他们轰到水塘里了，呵呵……）
