The privacy, beauty, special atmosphere of the place so fascinated Giacomo Puccini that in 1891 he decided to settle here, bought the tower and turned it into a beautiful cozy house. At that time, there were 20 houses in the city, in which 120 inhabitants lived. Puccini's main operas were created here.
